The value for money at Freedom was excellent, and the room provided all the necessary comforts. The location was ideal, with a quiet neighborhood and a charming cafe around the corner. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The only thing that could make the breakfast menu better was a wider selection.

freedom hostel in krakow exceeded my expectations! proximity to city centre, free wifi, low price with breakfast, and a kitchen with all the amenities made for a comfortable and affordable stay. plus, the interesting museum downstairs added to the overall experience.
wifi was terrible, had to use roaming

Very cosy clean and comfortable room. Staff is reliable helpful and pleasant. There is a well equipped kitchen where you can make a dinner. A breakfast is inclueded. You can use wi-fi internet here. This hostel is really close to the city center and 3 or 4 bus-stops from main bus and railway station. The room is quiet and warm.

Great WiFi without any interruptions or blackouts. Luxurious and exceedingly comfortable mattresses. - Reliable hot water in the bathroom, no waiting for it to warm up. - Spacious lockers, large enough to fit a large suitcase, providing ample storage space. - Well-equipped kitchen with a wide range of facilities and accessories. - Bed with a conveniently located lamp connected to a nearby shelf. - Affordable rooms with attractive decorations in the reception area. - Helpful and friendly staff. - Location is ideal for AGH and close to a transportation hub for easy access to the city center and airport.
Felt at home here, no complaints whatsoever.

Very friendly english speaking staffs. They helped me a lot. The hostel is located a little bit far from the center of the city, but 10~15 minutes by walk. Trams are also available.

Great location, just a short walk to the city center and close to a lovely park. The hostel provided private rooms with en suite bathrooms, which was a pleasant surprise for the price.
The noise level was quite high, especially in the mornings. The thin doors made it easy to hear the breakfast discussions and noise from the kitchen, which made it difficult to sleep in.

Location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk to the old city. The room was small, but clean and cosy enough for hostel. Staff is friendly and willing to help
Do not count on having breakfast there - it's almost uneatable

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with comfortable beds and a good shower. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including eggs, bread, and spreadable cheeses. The location was also great, with two free buses nearby that take you to the city center easily.
The reception was often closed or unoccupied, making it difficult to check out and return the key. the construction works outside made it impossible to sleep with the window open.

We also stayed at Premium Hostel (the floor below) but preferred Freedom. Close enough to the old city to walk (around 10 minutes), though you have to catch a tram/ bus from the train station. There is not much food or entertainment of note close to the hostel, but transport connections are good. Room was small but clean. Room was warm during the day but cooled off at night if a window to the main road was kept open. Unfortunately, the street outside can be noisy with traffic, and one night loud music and garbage trucks kept us awake. Not a social atmosphere, though a simple but sufficient breakfast (bread, selection of jams, cheese and yoghurt) is included in a common breakfast room. Walk very quickly across the nearby main road.
Noise from outside the room if the window was open (it had to be as otherwise the room was hot).

It was probably our bad luck but some of the guest were a bit noisy.
